Phoenix Rising 2021
From Lead To Gold ~ An Alchemical Sacred Fire Circle Gathering
Time & Location
Jun 17, 2021, 1:00 PM – Jun 20, 2021, 2:00 PM
About the Event
Celebrate summer solstice with a sacred community in nature’s sanctuary to uplift your spirit and magnify your creative expression.
For 4 days, June 17th- 20th 2021, immerse yourself in the elements to deepen your connection to Air: the portal of breath and voice, Fire: the portal of rhythm and music, Water: the portal of dance and movement and Earth: the portal of service and community.
The Sacred Fire Circle is the alchemical container and the 5th portal of Spirit, holding us in a safe, sacred vessel. We weave the elemental portals in a kaleidoscope of creativity around the fire, expressing the freedom of our awakening souls. Flow into the realms of inner adventure and magick.
By day, connect with others of like mind, learn something new at a “playshop”, (like a workshop without the work) or express with arts & crafts, find treasures or healing at the vendor village, participate in ritual creations, share meals or break out into spontaneous jams!
On Thursday night, our 1st shorter fire is an initiation ritual to burn off the confines of the false self and prepare our visions. On Friday & Saturday nights we dance, drum and sing our way around the all-night sacred fire circle with the intention to transmute Lead (that which keeps us weighted down) into Gold (the Illuminated Soul). Like the Phoenix Rising from the ashes, with the rising sun we are transformed into our most magnificent selves.
Join us for an alchemically rejuvenating and soul enlivening transformation by fire. Allow your inner magick to shine!Experience:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~About Madre Grande Monastery
Our lovely location is located 35 miles southeast of San Diego, in the high desert surrounded by giant rock formations. Oak trees and native plants fill the site where the indigenous peoples made their home in times past.
Fresh well water is plentiful and gives life to the land. All who visit Madre Grande feel the powerful presence of the ancestors and the sacredness of the land itself. The stewards of Madre Grande, Monica and Martin are most gracious hosts, avid farmers and gardeners.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Driving to the site the last 2 miles are very rough, rocky and slow going. Be mindful of potholes, uneven road and the neighbors who share the road with Madre Grande. RV's are welcome but you must be skilled at driving this vehicle. Directions will be sent to those who register.
NO ANIMALS, ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE PERMITTED
Attendance to this event is at your own risk. Please bring a mask to be worn when in close proximity. Do not attend if feeling ill or have any Covid-like symptoms.
